Spot the difference ....

I am aware that I have Filipino and Australian readers and it is not my intention to offend. My blog is to share with my friends and family back home our experiences: good and bad, things that are different and similar, and help them walk in our shoes just a little bit.

So every now and then I will share about some of the differences .....

Driving: Australia - we drive on the left          Philippines - they drive on the right
                               - road rules lots                                      - none or very few
                               - speed limit 110km/hr                           - any speed
                               - seat belts required always                    - not required
                               - horn used rarely: anger/danger            - horn used all the time

Toilets: Australia - Dual flush                         Philippines - Dual flush and single flush
                              - Sit down                                                - Sit down
                              - toilet paper                                            - hose sometimes toilet paper
                              - public toilet paper                                 - buy toilet paper or none.

             Malaysia - squat & hose

Well that's it for today ..

  1. Spain was the same as the Philippines and Morocco often had the Malay option. Maybe the hose has something to do with climate.
