Under estimated ...

Yes we certainly underestimated how long it would take to prepare our house to rent! You live in your house for 16 years and when you are busy (kids, teaching) you ignore the repairs that need to be done. Maybe you just don't see them. You have to stand back and view your house from a prospective renter - Oh no! Then there's your stuff - how much you accumulate over 16 years of living. We had the biggest council clean up I've ever seen! Now all the Reid's belongings live in a garage in Castle Hill. We finished 15mins before the Airport shuttle bus picked us up. Sean had no sleep that night. I'm not kidding! Advice if you think it's going to take a week, give yourself three!

Saying bye to Rusty was the toughest part for all of us.

Off to KL we needed the six days there to recover.
