Marco Hotel

Well we arrived at Marco in the middle of the night, kids in one room, Sean & I in the other. Woke up late (I wonder why!) and managed to get breaky in.

Marco became our home away from home for just over a week. Gave us a bit of time to acclimatise, culturalise, and look for a house.

Mandy and Chennett (I will get a photo) helped us so much... couldn't have done it with out them. Mandy driving us all over CDO, translating and making sure we weren't getting ripped off. Chennett taking me to local shops for good value buys on sheets, mattresses, washing machine (next on the wish list) and doonas.

The hotel had great amenities for the kids: two pools, hot pool, basketball, tennis, badminton and rock climbing, and of course cable TV. Nice safe place to leave them when we went out.
